H. Upmann Magnum 56 Edición Limitada 2015

Go big or go home. That’s what Cuban monopoly Habanos S.A. said when they were designing this girthy cigar. The thickest cigar in the H. Upmann portfolio, the Magnum 56 EL 2015 is a limited-edition (hence the EL) smoke that’s packed with flavor – and tobacco – measuring 5 7/8 inches by 56 ring gauge. And while it may seem like an intimidating smoke with its gorgeously darker brown wrapper and its size, it actually has a medium body and a calming draw.

It's well made. The toro burns consistently through for all of about 1 hour and a half or beyond. It has an abundance of flavors within including vanilla, caramel and cedar wood, which creates an interesting flavor profile that is both earthy and sweet. That’s what makes it an ideal cigar to have one (or two) drinks such as a hoppy beer, rich cognac or milder whiskey. The cigars come in the traditional 25-count, cedar slide boxes.
