This is one of the most famous cigars within the entire Cohiba arsenal. It’s ranked highly across the board as one of the most original of the brand, and another part of its Línea Clásica series that was added in 1989 – the same time Cohiba went on sale across the world. At the time, it was the thickest in the Cohiba portfolio, measuring 4 7/8 by a 50 ring gauge as it does to this day.
This cigar is not for the faint of heart. It’s packed with flavor and power through and through, a full-bodied cigar that carries with it bold notes of earthy wood, oak and letter, with a classic Cohiba nuttiness underneath and a hint of smooth sweetness in the background and delivery of each puff. You may even taste some vanilla and almonds there as well. While it has a high reputation among cigar smokers, it lives up to all of its hype. A cigar certainly worthy of getting a whole box of 25, which comes in cool square cedar.
